About Dr. Cortez
Olga L. Cortez, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN who provides personalized care for women at Cross Roads Hormonal Health & Wellness. Her practice is located in Cross Roads, Texas and it has the latest medical and wellness resources.
In addition to the obstetric and gynecologic care she provides, Dr. Cortez offers medically supervised weight loss plans and hormonal therapies for both women and men.
Dr. Cortez began her education in medicine at the University of North Texas. She went on to earn her medical degree in 2002 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Cortez then completed her internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where she provided comprehensive care for women of all ages.
After her medical training, Dr. Cortez returned to Cross Roads, Texas to start her practice and to raise her family. Over the years, she learned from personal experience the difficulties of weight loss and hormonal imbalance. That led her to devote herself to helping others with these same issues. She has since completed additional training to assist men and women with medically supervised weight loss and hormonal support.
As a passionate advocate for the overall health of each person, Dr. Cortez aims to support the path of each patient to optimal well-being. She works with her patients to identify and achieve their health goals reassuringly and compassionately.

About Dr. Collins
Leora C. Collins, MD is a passionate supporter of women’s health as an OB/GYN at Cross Roads Hormonal Health & Wellness. She provides comprehensive gynecologic and obstetric care for women of all ages in Cross Roads, Texas, using advanced training in holistic obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Collins was interested in medicine from a young age and aimed to become a doctor while still in high school. She graduated in the top three from her high school class in San Antonio before accepting a scholarship to attend Stanford University for her undergraduate studies.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford, she returned to Texas to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She then completed her residency at Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, where she took on leadership roles and additional studies in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Collins is currently a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology with advanced training in weight loss, thyroid disorders, and hormone management for men and women. In her free moments, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and gardening.

About Donna White, MPAS, PA-C
Donna White, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who provides personalized care for women and men at Cross Roads Hormonal Health & Wellness in collaboration with Dr. Cortez.
Donna offers medically supervised weight loss plans and hormonal therapies for both women and men, as well as management of certain other acute and chronic conditions.
After completing both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in the early 1980’s, Donna began her professional career path as a professor of anatomy and physiology for 20 years, first in Mississippi, and for the last 11 years at Collin College in Plano. It was then that she realized that she was ready for a new challenge and decided to pursue medical practice as a PA, graduating from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center School of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014.
Physician Assistants are trained as general medical practitioners, and Donna spent the first years of her medical practice working in Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Internal Medicine settings. She is well-versed in the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, and now enjoys learning more about functional medicine and the nuances of hormone balance while working with Dr. Cortez. In addition, she enjoys the benefits of having her own hormones well-balanced, and having experienced many of the problems faced by her patients, she enjoys sharing her knowledge, experiences, and wisdom with those suffering similar issues.
Donna’s teaching experience allows her to communicate with each patient to educate them on their symptoms, causes, and potential treatments in order to develop an individualized plan. No question is a stupid question if it needs an answer! She truly enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel their best.
